Hi fellow bees!!
it's been a hard decision deciding between a silk type dress and an all lace dress.
but i think i'm going with lace!
if you have a pic of yourself in a lace dress, please post!!!! would love to see how beautiful you all look!!!
I'm also trying to decide between with or without straps!!!
Check out Mrs. Champagne's -- it's lacy and beautiful! Mrs. Kitten also looked at, but ultimately didn't keep -- two gorgeous lace gowns.
Mine is a lace gown, even though its not the traditional type. :)

I love lace dresses. I wore an alencon lace dress from judd waddell. I like this photo because it shows the lovely scalloped edge.

Here's my all-lace dress! Not fitted to me because that was in the store with the sample. I love lace.. It definitely felt the most bridal to me, especially for my garden wedding.

I didn't want lace originally, but I felt the most elegant in it, and I think it is even more flattering!

I wanted lace originally but then I tried on a cotton eyelet dress and fell in love. The heart wants what the heart wants!
that marisa dress with organza is GORGEOUS!!! love it! all these dresses are beautiful! good choices on the lace...sometimes it's hard finding a beautiful and elegant lace dress...lace can be tricky...

My dress is Jim Hjelm 8663. Exactly like this one, except for ivory lace over champagne with a champagne sash. I have my second fitting in about a week... Can't wait! :o)
Hi! I was originally against lace, but it made me feel so incredibly elegant. It also had beading, which I also thought I was against.
My dress was a Casablanca Diamond Collection--A001. Their dresses aren't advertised, nor are they found for sale on the internet... So here's me in it.

There are some that are silk with lace accents! Best of both worlds maybe =] Jim Hjelm has some of these that i really liked!

Mine is not completely lace, but it has a lot of lace detailing all over it - I feel so elegant and feminine - it's Alfred Angelo 1185. I'm thinking of getting the straps replaced with capsleeves much like those on lemilie's 1st dress picture.

I love this post! I am totally a lace lover and am looking for an all lace wedding gown. I am considering the Casablanca 1900, although I found a beautiful Casablanca gown for too much money that's also embedded in my head. I also LOVE the Jim Hjelm lace gowns!!
