I’m not sure what you mean by “all three” might look thrown together?  Damask, black lace and……. black feathers you mean?  Or the hot pink?  Not sure if you’re talking about taking away the damask completely (except for the unity candle) and going with black lace in it’s place?  Or just adding lace to the mix along WITH the damask?  (or was that your question?)

If you’re asking if you can have BOTH black lace AND damask together – honestly, I dunno but that might look kind of odd.  They’re both such strong patterns.  I think either one needs a “neutral” with it to offset it, you know?  To me it would be like mixing – I dunno – zebra print and polka dots or something – I just wouldn’t do it…..

If you have black lace with PINK damask only (rather than BLACK damask) I think that would be fine (but I think you said you had some black damask stuff too?).

@xshellx2003: That’s my wedding!!! Except I will have white carnations. I am using ostrich feather centerpieces in white and black and my accent color is purple. I think black lace would be OMG gorgeous!!! Can you imagine a hot pink table cloth with a black lace runner and feather centerpieces?!  Or even a white tablecloth with a hot pink runner and black lace on top of the hot pink runner. The directions you could go with this are insane!!!! However I will let you know that I have a tendency to go OVER THE TOP. On things… I mean I am the person putting feathers in her hair, on her shoes; they were in the invites, on the napkins and will be on the cake and of course the bouquet 😀

I definitely think you can do the lace as table runners… and even on the invites.  The damask is over done (on line) but not really in person if that makes sense?  Most of my family members had never seen it before and I am a wedding pro and have only seen it done in person once.  Both looks have a vintage vibe and the manzanita branches add in the glamour. I think it can be done.

These are white runners, but I think they would look great with black lace on top and with damask napkins…

This picture made me think of you (and yes now I want lace too dang it!!)
