I have done a lot of pinning on pinterest and I can say that many of my fellow lady friends share my admiration for lace keyhole dresses or dresses with dramatic back. I am afraid that if I fall in love with a dress like this I will feel it is to trendy later.
What do you bees think? Are keyhole laces dresses too trendy?
Also feel free to include your dresses if you chose a keyhole dress. I would love to see them.

i love keyhole dresses, i think they are very classic and timeless. I know they are trendy now but they don’t feel trendy the way neon does right now 🙂
Is there a particular one you like?

@smokingpoint: I agree. I think they might be “in” right now but in a way that a classic style would be in style. I’m going to be wearing a key hole dress:
This is my bad picture of the back of my dress. It’s a size too big for me, though.

I don’t think its trendy in reality. It’s just trendy in photos and blogs. Go for it.

I fell in love with this style a long time ago and it seemed that right after I bought mine it started showing up everywhere. But I don’t really mind. I think if it fits your style and your personality then it’s definitely something you should at least try! It’s such a beautiful look. I think looking back it will be something you will always think was classic and not just a passing trend. I bought Maggie Sotterro’s Bernadette. Here are a few pics from my wedding:
and one from the front for good measure:
Good luck with your dress search! Again, I definitely encourage you to at least try on this style. If it’s what fits you best you will know when you have it on 🙂

I don’t think it’s trendy, it’s just that a classy style has come back with sleeves and something more than strapless. There are also tons of keyhole backs so it’s not like there’s only one style:
Get whatever makes you happy!
Here’s my dress:

I think it’s ‘in’ right now, but over time, it’s still a very classic look. Very elegant.

@sunnywoods: I completely agree. I don’t think it’s trendy in reality either. Definitely an online/blog thing. I have never been to an actual wedding where the bride wore one. I purchased my lace keyhole dress the other week… and I am so excited!! I definitely think they are classy & timeless!! 🙂

My mom wore a keyhole dress when she got married in 1983. No, it’s not trendy.
