Personally, I don't think a lace edged veil will go as well with the ruffles on your dress. I think possibly a satin edged veil would go better with your dress.
Do you have a picture of the veil? My first thought is no, it wouldn't look right together, but depending on how much lace and where it is placed, it could work.
I actually think lace-edged veils generally look better with non-lace dresses, so I think you'd be fine! A picture of you in your dress and veil might help us give more constructive feedback. In any event, I'm sure you'll make a beautiful bride on your wedding day! You look stunning in your dress!

Hi ladies, I need a quick opinion about something. I am getting a veil from a friend which is gorgeous but have noticed it has a bit of lace edging at the bottom.. It is cathedral length veil with blusher. My dress has ruffles, but no lace. Is it odd to wear her veil with my dress? Or should I buy a veil with no lace instead? I know pictures of the veil would help, but I don't have any to hand. This is a picture of the dress though.
