    Okay, so for a while now I have been wanting to cut my hair. But, because I always have issues with hair cuts I have put it off until after the wedding/honeymoon in case I ended up hating it. Well now for Christmas I want a cute do, a short do, that's easy to style. I am attatched to my long hair, because I hide behind it, but I don't want to anymore. And I feel if there was ever a time to chop it, now is the time. I am ready to let go, and dive in. And who knows how long this window of courage will be open for!  So here is a pic of what I look like now, and feel free to vote, post pictures or just critique what you think I should do. Thanks :)

    Don't mind the bikinipicture, this is the last picture I have with my hair down. So it's current.

    And here I just added another one, clearer of my face:

    It would help if you can post pictures of short haircuts you like.

    I know everytime I cut my long hair then I spend the next couple months waiting for it to grow out again, that's why I voted to keep it long.  If you want to take a couple inches off, that might make you feel lighter and still keep it long.

    Nooo, don't say that! haha. I actually agree, I think I look better with long hair. Buttt, for the amount I wear it down and style it, it just isn't worth keeping so long. I would be better off having it shorter and being able to play with it more... I think.

    I think the first haircut option photo would look super cute on you.

    @lovekiss:

    Thanks but do you think I should make it more into a bob, a very slight bob. I have really thick hair in the back, so it probably get rid of some of the bulk that I hate with shorter cuts.

    Right above shoulder with side bangs. My hair was as long as yours and I just did that a couple of weeks ago and I love it!

    Uh-oh, you might change my opinion -- some of those look really good & also low-maintenance!

    @totheislnds:

    Have you ever had a hair cut like this? I wonder how high maintenance it would be on a day to day basis. I do like it, I would probably do it with longer side swept bangs though.

    @LucyLaLa:

    Low maintenance is key for me. I have a rambunctious 2 year old, so if I can just blow dry the bangs, and add some curls or round brush it some days i am peachy!

    @Cash000:  I have worn it like this (its much longer now though) and it was easy for me, but i have pretty thin hair and its stick straight so it fell really nicely. i let my hair air dry 99% of the time.

    I voted shoulder length with bangs, but I think more of a side bang would make it more modern... Like this:

    @totheislnds:

    Ohh ok. Lucky you!! I always wished I could just let my hair air dry. The only time I can is when it is long as it is now, because the length weighs down the waves so it isn't frizzy. However, I am bored with this hair, and feel like not only does it weigh my waves down, it weighs me down to. Change is good!

    Thanks for the inspiration pic though, but maybe it won't work for my hair. :(

    @Carliej01:

    Now this one I like, I would probably do a bit of a longer, more wispy bang, and possibly go a little shorter  so when it grows out in a month it looks like this pic. Less maintenance! I like to go to the salon every 2 months, no sooner.

    I have really thick hair, and when I get it cut, I get it thinned every.single.time. It works wonders for the weight, especially when you are getting a short cut. Just don't let them thin the top section, because then you get wispys with short hair, especially in dry winter air.

    I would just blow dry mine, or let it air dry and then flat iron it

    What kind of haircut do you have? I heard about thinning, but I heard both good things and bad things.

    @roxy821:

    I have always like this, but I always thought maybe it was too choppy to be low maintenance for my hair. I always find the more choppiness in the layers, the harder it is to maintain. What is the texture of your hair,and do you find yourself spenidng alot of time on styling it every day?

    @Cash000- My hair is so fine I need the layers to add some volume. But I'm sure you could do a cut like this without the layers and just the side bangs and angles. My hair takes about 10mins top to blow dry and style and the best part is with the shorter hair it doesn't fall flat in an hour.
