Did you have to resize your rings to account for them being wider once they’re soldered? If you did how much did you have to go up? I’m a waiting bee but SO wants to know my ring size and since I know I want to solder my rings I want to try to account for it (the ring I picked out is a nightmare to resize and the wedding band will be made at the same time so they match).

I went up a quarter size when I had my three rings soldered just last weekend. The jeweler sized me with the wider sizers. Half a size was too much.

It’s going to depend on the width of the rings and how they fit you apart from each other…you may have to wait till you get your ring…at least that’s what I would do.

I soldered three bands together (two 3mm bands and my 4mm ering) together and went up a half size from what my 2mm seperates were sized at.
My jeweler told me to go up a half because I also went up in width of the bands, I probably would have only gone up a quarter if I had the same thin bands. Width makes a difference!

@AtLeastIHaveHim: I soldered 2 rings and had to go up 1/2 a size. They were both 3mm rings.

My soldered rings (4mm total) fit perfectly now, were probably a little loose before.

Thanks for the input everyone!
