I got it after my hair during the trial, and it didn’t mess up my hair.

My makeup artist said it really doesn’t matter to her. If it’s after hair, she’ll put a soft band in or clips to hold it back while airbrushing. I still haven’t decided what I’m going to do, so I’m going to follow this thread closely.

Mine set my hair prior to the airbrush, did my makeup and then finished my hair after that (I’m wearing it down) and it was fine. The airbrush makeup is misted on fairly finely, so it’s not like you will end up with a bunch of flesh-colored hair around your face, assuming your MUA knows what she’s doing.

Doesn’t really matter but personally I think that during (btwn curling and finishing) is best.  When I have a bride that got her hair done at a salon prior, I’ll reset (curl the hair with my hands and set with a clip) the hair if it was curled around the face so that the curls hold and the waves stay perfect. Some artists may use kleenex around the face depending on the type of foundation they’re using.

I did after but I don’t think it really matters too much.  The airbrush will last all night, so don’t worry too much!
