I was at Joann Fabrics this evening and they have champagne illusion tulle in stock. May not have it at store in your area but they they can special order. It's a beutiful shade - very subtle but definitely champagne with a shimmer.
I did a gold tulle veil and an ivory french net birdcage-- neither of which I wore, since I got all claustrophobic on wedding day :p
I found the gold tulle at Pacific Fabrics.
My dress is "light gold" but it's more warm ivory, so an ivory worked. Also, have you tried it with the dress already? You might be surprised! Maybe even an ivory veil with some gold accents?
I basically tried it. I photoshopped a picture of me in the dress when I bought it. The one I tried on was diamond white, and I was wearing a white veil in the pic, but when I matched the dress to the color I actually bought with PhotoShop, it looks pretty off.
Guess I'll have to keep trying, there are a couple different Joann's in my area, I'll try some of the other locations.
My dress is gold and I found an etsy seller - Honeycomb Veils - that makes very non-traditional and BEAUTIFUL veils. I'm working with her to create a veil that has an South Asian feel to it and she's been extremely helpful. Maybe you could contact her about a matching veil.
I think an ivory will work for mine...at least that is my hope! I am a little worried now because I plan to make my own veil and am not sure if its going to be difficult to find fabric that matches
i'm using an ivory veil, i think it looks fine. why don't you try etsy, you can put out an alchemy request.
I am wearing a light gold dress from Maggie Sottero. I ordered my veil from veilshop.com, they have many colors. They will send you a swatch card for $5 and then give you a $5 credit towards a future purchase. According to veil shop, their light gold color perfectly matches Maggie Sottero's light gold. I'll find out this weekend when I go to try my dress on with my veil. Also, they are VERY reasonable, a cathedral length veil, no embellishments was $67.
I'm not wearing a veil, but doing more of a vintage 1920's inspired headpiece.
OMG!! im so glad this topic exist, im wearing maggie sotero antique gold royale vougue and having hard time finding veil, found one at davids bridal and it was 300$... my dream veil is cathedral...
Found this lady that make custom veil and she said ivory will be okay with the dress she you can find her on veils and beyond she work with your budget
Have you thought about trying a cafe, or shimmer cafe color of bridal veil? There is a veil shop online that will send you veil swatches to see if it matches your dress and than you can pick a veil and they will make it in that color. The website is wedding-veil.com. Good luck, your dress is so pretty!
My dress is light gold and the name of the color of my veil is rum pink, but its barely pink!
I tried on a champagne colored dress (Maggie Sotteros's Rhianna Royale)at this bridal shop in Upland, California named Debrah's Bridal. She kept saying how she was the accessory queen and that she knew exactly what to wear with what. I forgot the color she said to wear with the champagne dress, but I loved it! She had me try on a darker gold color veil, but it was too dark and she said there is a lighter color gold and it looked amazing. If you're desperate, I'd call the place and ask for Heather and ask her what she'd recommend and pretend you're going to buy it from her!

It seems like all the tulle I've found is either white or ivory, which will so not go with my dress. Did any of you have any luck finding darker material to make your veil out of? This is a picture of the color of my dress (not on me), what do you think?
