espeically with diamonds on the band also...how do you like your halo?  Is it hard to wear?  As in...do you worry the little diamonds will get knocked out with every day wear?

a friend of mine is considering getting a ring similar to this style and asked if I could ask on here (she's too lazy to create an account).  :)

    thanks so much in advance.

Nah, I have a micropave halo and a pave wedding band and it looks fine and gives me no trouble.  If anything, the prongs that hold my centerstone get a few threads snagged in there mostly.

I have a halo and have lost stones 4 times.  It's just a commom thing with pave settings.  I don't walk around paranoid about it though.

I LOVE my halo. I have had it for about 3 years and I have lost a small stone on 2 occasions during cleanings. I was lucky that each time it has been found and replaced, but be careful with ultrasonic cleaners and be careful where you take it to be cleaned. I am pretty tough on my ring however and maybe someone who had any control over their body whatsoever and wasn't constantly walking into walls would have better luck. :-)

ETA I agree with Hoboken bride. I don't really worry about it much at all.

LOOOOOVE my halo ring and haven't had any problems with diamonds falling out. Even if they did, I'm not paranoid about it because the insurance will replace them.
