Can you get them engraved? This may be the dumbest Q ever but I'm not sure with it not being white gold if it could be engraved or not. Any bee's have their husbands rings engraved & it be a tungsten of any kind? Thanks bee's!

Good question. My FI has a tungsten ring and Im going to try and get it engraved. I guess you need a special bit to engrave them that not all engravers have. I need to research it a bit more but I will let you know how I make out.

Yes you can, but not just any jeweler can do it. I had it done when I ordered it.

Yeah, most jewelers will tell you 'no'. And they can't be resized.

Yes. I had my husband's Tungsten Carbide ring engraved.  Apparently the only way to do it is with a "diamond laser" or something...

Thanks so much bee's! UGH, does this mean it will cost more? Or that I might not be able to get it locally done (I live in a small town.) Tomorrow I will call around & let you bee's know what they say.

I bought DH's ring from TitaniumKay and they say that tungsten rings should only be engraved by a laser. Otherwise engraving will look pretty bad.

I'd first talk to jewelers that carry tungsten rings in stock. If you the online route, most should offer laser engraving when you purchase the ring. At least TitaniumKay did.

I bought a tunsten ring at JVL jewelers and it was $40 to have it engraved! Surprised It can be done, but it doesn't come cheap! The also offered a "deal" if you get both his and hers engraved, ir would be $70. I declined that, but they called me the next day to see if I wanted engraving for $20. I still said no, but they ended up doing it anyway for free!

Yup!  you can get it laser engraved.  Although some jewelers don't know abou this and will tell you no.
