I've used Mrs. Okabayashi in San Gabriel with great success, and have also recommended her to other bees and a co-worker. She charged me about $80 total for taking in the bodice slightly (which had heavy beading and boning), hemming, and a three-point bustle. She charged another bee about $225 total for alterations on two wedding dresses. You can PM me for her contact info if you are interested.

i paid $300 to have the bodice taken in on both sides, a button fixed, the front hemmed, a 12 point bustle added and to have it steamed.
from what i heard, i got a deal.
Im using Reene from In Stithes in Woodland Hills. She works by word of mouth alone and was highly reommended by other users on Yelp and projet wedding. Am paying 250 for alterations. My dress is kind of omplex in that its got many layers with an asymmetrial hem so she rehemming, creating a muti-point bustle, putting in bra ups and altering my veil. She is super sweet and incredibly detail oriented. PM me if you want her info.
