I booked my DJ through www.sunsetdj.com By far the best service and most affordable DJs i ever found. It will fit right into your budget without sacrificing quality. Look for Misti at 800-326-2378, she is extremely nice! Tell them client #604007 referred you, they will give you a great deal. Goodluck!
Our videographer is Long Beach-based and did a phenomenal job on the video. Captured all the key moments, and the final edit w/ the music and everything told the story perfectly. www.invisibletouchdj.com is a DJ/lighting company based out of Irvine, but did some corporate parties for me in L.A. Been around for a while, and very experienced. Listened to what I wanted, and a great job. Played the right songs and more importantly, didn't play the bad songs! Ask for Robert Arthur.

The video editor is out of philly and he has videographer's accross the country!
I'm using Tim Coy for DJ Services - $700. He has been used by a few Bees as well. There are a few posts about him. He is a quality DJ with an affordable price!
For Videography, we are using a film student. Some other (out of my budget) videographers I found included Red Studio 5 and Mon Villacorta.
More within our price range include Ray and Joyce (also photogs).
We will be using <span class="yshortcuts">www.carcanodj.com. Mike is great. I was having the hardest time finding a DJ who I clicked with but within 5 minutes of meeting him my mom and aunt were ready to sign the contract. Check him out and let him know his Monday night bride sent you 
I used the same DJ as SoCalBeachGirl, we used Invisible Touch in Irvine. They are fabulous and we have worked with them at several events at the Aquarium. Ask for Robert or Victor and tell them Sarah recommended you.
I am using Jason Daniel Productions for videography. He's based in the OC. Also using Mindscape entertainment (DJ Steve Martinez) for the DJ.

Hi! Wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations for videographers and DJ's in the LA/OC area. For each, my budget is around $1,000-$1,500 or less.
For the video, I'm hoping to find someone that will include a photo montage/slideshow during the reception...if they could include same day edits too that would be icing on the cake!
For DJ, anyone within that price and have a good reputation will do.
