My friend was telling me about a wedding she went to where the groom gave the bride a lapdance. Apparently he was rubbing himself all over her and it was pretty risque. She said at one point he had his butt and his crotch in his face. So what do you Bees think? Is it trendy, tacky, gross, what? Would you be upset at your husband if he did this at your wedding?

I would knock him back onto his backside and walk away. Of course in a million-gazillion-bazillion years my husband would never ever do anything like that so it’s more far fetched than anything. But I wouldn’t tolerate behavior like that from him or anyone else at my wedding. And if it happened at a wedding where I was a guest, I would walk away.
I rarely use this word but the only word that comes to mind: Tacky.

That reminds me of the episode of “Four Weddings” where the groom was a former Chippendale dancer!
I really feel that some things are best left for the bedroom, though, even if your groom has some skills, lol. 🙂

Blah! I’ve never heard of that! I don’t think I would be very excited to see that as a guest, and if DH had done that to me at our wedding……. ooooh boy……

I would be flat out pissed !!!! But lucky for me, he would never do anything like that !!

I have to agree that it’s pretty gross and I’d be really pissed at my DH if he ever did that. It just seems disrespectful somehow at a wedding. I actually just watched the video of it on Youtube and it’s pretty…ick. The groom then goes completely under the bride’s dress, licks her leg for everyone to see, and then takes the garter off with his teeth. Really?

I’d be so angry that the reception would be over at that point. Period.

That’s beyond trashy. Honestly, what’s wrong with people?

I saw that on Four Weddings as well. If I were a guest I would have been taking a very long stroll…to my car! No thank you. In the hotel room later to be silly and goofy so I can have a good laugh before bed, ok (like FI could actually give a ‘serious’ lapdance, lol), but in front of Grandma and the pastor?! Ahk!

@jo.lee: lol me too! i wonder if her friend was at that wedding?

@jo.lee: Haha, I was just gonna ask the OP if her friend attended the wedding from that show! I had to change the channel when I saw that, it was sooo awkward.

Nope, that wasn’t the wedding haha!

Haha well maybe my man is bit more of goofball than yours ladies because I can see him doing this! It wouldn’t be in a sexual way, but more of funny way. He often thinks it’s hilarious to gride up on me or mockingly act sexual, so it wouldn’t surpirse me if he tried to do it at the wedding. I highly doubt he would try to preform an actual lapdance though… lol. Yikes!
