Here’s a pic I found online. You can see they’re not floor lenght but the chairs cover the edge. What size are your tables?

90″ square will cover 60″ tables like in that pic PaperCrane found. Or 108″ rounds have a 24″ drop on 60″ tables.

I think the overlays make a difference in that pic BUT also note that there are no chairs in that picture so I don’t think you have to worry about the legs showing like they do there. Especially if you end up puttin 10 people per table insead of 8.

I, personally, think that floor length make SO much more of an impact. If at all possible, that’s what I would do.

On the other hand…. if it’s way more expensive, screw it. There are more important things to spend the money on.

Both kinds can look good.

I would agree. I think the floorlength appears more formal. If you do your research, there are places where it is actually cheaper to buy than to rent.

I agree that floor lenght are more formal but it seems like your wedding is more rustic so I think it would be fine. Plus your chairs will be nicer looking than those black ones.

I think if you’re looking to save a couple dollars this is one thing that very few people will notice once the room is filled with people.
