@GiantJelly:  Even without a halo, your stone will look bigger once it is set for real! I got a 1.2 and was SHOCKED at how tiny it looked when it was loose.. I was like seriously? This is what used to count as a huge honkin rock? I wear a size 8, so I feel you lady! I think that the 2ct looks fab already, but if you want that teeny tiny extra .5 I say no harm in that, go for it!

@GiantJelly:  I think the 2ct looks great but I voted for 2.5 because if you’re already feeling like it might be too small I have a feeling shrinkage in is your near future.

@GiantJelly:  I think that stone looks like a good size! I have size 8.5 fingers and got a 7mm (1.25 carat equivelent) i think it is a good size, although i wouldn’t have minded an extra 0.5 carat haha

I think all the stones here are very large, even relative to your fingers. The only thing I find looks weird is that SKY-HIGH setting on the ring! I would be so scared that it would hit something & knock out my stone!

@GiantJelly:  Omg I tell SO all the time I want finger lipo hahah!

But as someone who is also self conscious about her fingers, I will tell you that yours are lovely and perfectly proportional. Don’t stress!

@GiantJelly:  I think the size you have is lovely! And I totally feel you about the non-dainty hands, girl! I have these weird little vienna sausage stubby fingers. Carny hands, as I like to call them, haha. You have nothing to worry about, I think whatever size you chose (present or even a little larger) will look absolutely wonderful 😀

I’m a size 8 and for round cuts I like a 9mm – 10mm spread in order to feel like I have sufficient  coverage. That’s basically 3-4cts. So I voted you in at a 9mm/3ct for a size 10 finger.

@MrsRugbee:  It’s not an actual ring it’s a stone holder. Little claws that grab stones of all sizes so you can see how they look on before you set them in a ring. 🙂

I think the size you ordered looks great, but if you feel it is too small the 8.5mm might not be a big difference so try the 9mm.

I say get the 3 carat!  You’re already worried about it being small and you want the look of a larger stone, so go bigger!
