Wow, that's quite a large number! I don't know of any Orlando venues that can hold this many indoors that will let you bring in your own caterer. Perhaps try a public park?
If you have this specific requirement, I'd recommend hiring a planner that can perhaps negotiate and try to find a place for you.
@Feyirefly: I'm not sure but I think the Heaven Event Center may be large enough,..they do allow outside catering. Maybe the Orlando Museum of Art is large enough.
@Feyirefly: Just thought of another one. The Ballroom at Church St is large. Also any of the large hotels can handle events of this size....we have plenty of hotels here!
Thanks so much ladies!! .. I intend on hiring a planner. we havent even set an official date yet i guess i was just a little too excited ! but definitely will hire a planner when the time comes..

I might have to give up the outside catering hope after all its not that crucial.

Hi Bees! HOPEFULLY someone here can help. I am looking to get married in November 2012 in Orlando. I desperately need suggestions/recommendations for a wedding reception venue for about 400 people that would permit outside catering. PLEASE SUGGEST AWAY !! money really wouldnt be the issue . oh and I would prefer an INDOOR location please. thanks !!
