Hello, I know there was a similar post a while back but I wear a size 10 and was looking to see what rings other bees with large hands went for. I am not yet engaged but boyfriend has been given a round heirloom stone that is a little more than 1 carat. If anyone has a stone around this size pictures would be amazing!

@Cavie92: I have an average ring size, so the best I can do is my weddingbee sleuthing skills. I didn’t realize that Miss Tattoo:‘s finger is a 10!

@Cavie92: I’m a size 8 but my ring is 1.5.

I am a size 9 and my ring is a 1ct oval set east-west in a bezel. Its band is 2.5 mm wide. I love my ring and I think it compliments my style well and doesn’t make my hands look bigger than thye are… In this picture I’m wearing it with my wedding band, which is an eternity band (with the exception of a small sizing bar in the back, just in case) of 2 pt diamonds set in bezels with milgraining. The wedding band is also 2.5 mm wide.

Hmmm…I have a ton of rings in several different sizes. My ring fingers can fit anything from a 7.25 (for a snug fit on my left ring finger) to an 8.75 (for a much looser fit on my right). Then again, I have purchased many of my rings through eBay and Etsy, so the sizing may not be exact.
Here are some freshly-taken pictures:
Oval star sapphire ring (set east-to-west), about equivalent to a 1 ct diamond:
5 mmx 7 mm oval cabochon emerald ring, about equivalent to a 1.3 ct diamond (if the online caluclator I used is right, that is):
Three-stone marquise garnet and trillion citrine ring; center stone is about equivalent to a 1.5-2 ct diamond if I recall correctly:

My ring size in 9.5 and I wanted a non traditional stone/ring so it is an amethyst with diamonds in the swirl. I tried on rings and I think thinner bands look better on my fingers so maybe it will for you too. I LOVE my ring because its so unique and I think the swirl compliments my thick finger well.

I am a size 11. It sucks – I can’t buy anything without having it customed sized.
Anyways, my ring is a 0.42 diamond solitare. More petite than you are looking for, but it’s always made me happy. 🙂

I thought I was alone having larger fingers! My size is 10.25 and my diamond is exactly 1.00 carat.

Oh my gosh, I love this thread! You ladies have just made me so much more comfortable in my skin. I’m a plus-sized bride with the tiniest hands on the planet, to boot–my nickname in highschool was Baby Hands–and I’ve always been self-conscious about them, even though my FI adores them. But looking at all these beautiful photos, I’m seeing how wonderful everyone look and I’m feeling much better 🙂 🙂
