I’m an 8 or 8.5, and here’s my just under 1ct. I also have a pic of a 2ct (which I decided was too big.)

My (almsot) 1ct bezel.

And the 2ct that I no longer wear. (But still have, because, hello, diamond!)

@otto2008:  Mine is a size 9.5, the center stone is equivalent to a 1.5 ct diamond. I personally would not go smaller than that.

@otto2008:  I wear an 8.5 and my center stone is 1.32 ct. We were going to go bigger but chose quality over quantity and I fell in love with this diamond.  My finger was so swollen when I took this pic. It’s not that tight.

I wear a size 9.5 and my center diamond is .75 carats. This isn’t the best picture but it shows the size in relation to my fingers/hand =P

my engagement ring is any 8.5 and my wedding band is a 9 I really should have the engagement ring sized up. This is a 1.25 moissanite equivelent

@otto2008:  Now I know you said size 9 but just wanted to share size of finger n size of overall hand can vary . Thou I have a 7 finger I do have plus size chunky hand n reason why I opted for 1.75 ct diamond so it would look kinda proportioned not only the hand but suit my larger body frame too.   Anyways just my 2cents of my experience when shopping for Ering with SO. Wishing you  the best of luck searching for that perfect Ering. Shows how much you truly love your girl Laughing

@otto2008:  I’d vote in the range of 1.5 – 2 ct. I think 3ct would look overwhelming, no matter what size her finger is.  Depends on her taste though.

2 carat and definitely three carat would more than suffice and quite honestly, depending on the type of stone, 1 carat to 1.5 carats is more than sufficent.

I am a size 9.5 with a 1.01 carat cushion cut.
