I’m going to Las Vegas in 10 days (with my SO, best friend, and her SO) and although we’ve planned most of our “big ticket” actvities like the Cirque du Soleil show and our fancy dinner on the last night, I’m still looking for more things to do while I’m there.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the following types of activities.
1 – Night Clubs that play Top 40 Music
2 – Cheap (Free??) Activities that we can do throughout the day/night
3 – Neat attractions that are not as well known or well-advertised
4 – Delicious restaurants – preferably fancy so we can dress up
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

1 – When FI and I went to Las Vegas, we went to Marquee. We liked it because they had 3 floors with 3 different types of music. The bottom floor was hip-hop, the middle floor was Top 40 stuff but mostly club mixes, and the top floor was the “Library” which featured lots of places to sit down. 🙂 If you go early in the day and ask you can get put on the guest list and end up in the fast track line when you show up later.
2 – We mostly walked through all the various casinos and did a lot of window-shopping. I had never been to Vegas, so this was really fun for me.
3- No help here.
4 – The best food I have ever had anywhere was at the Top of the World at the Strasophere. It’s on the edge of the strip, but it’s totally worth it. It is really expensive, definitely a huge splurge, but well worth it! The entire restaurant is on the 108th floor, and is on a rotating platform so you get a 360 degree view of the city. The service was amazing, the food was better, and it was by far the most romantic restaurant experience I have ever had.
