I would steer clear of Circus Circus. Maybe check out some of the "locals" casinos that are in the vicinity of the LV sign--Silverton, Southpoint, the M. I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for and what your price range is, but you might be able to find something there. There is also a restaurant called Panevino off the strip that does events (I considered it when looking at venues for myself). It's not too far off the strip and has really nice views. Hope that helps! If you have any more specific questions, feel free to message me :-)
Thanks:) I think I may have decided on Hofbrauhaus. I love the pictures, of course I have to go check it out personally (the horror a weekend trip to vegas hehe) I saw some youtube videos of the 'sign ceremony' and they are incredibly loud.
I want a restaurant reception because I decided I don't wanna mess with decorations etc... And will just have our VR there:) I'm quite excited. Do you know if all venues will allow Elvis? because I do not know if Haufbrauhaus will or not... I need to check that out:)
Thanks so much for your suggestions:)
I really don't know if venues will allow the Elvis...I don't see why they wouldn't since it's not like they hold ceremonies and it would be competition. I would just call and ask. I have seen several ads recently in the local bridal mags for Hofbrauhaus so they are definitely making an effort to get into the bridal market, which makes me think they will be accommodating...
@smallfortune: Thanks, thats reassuring:) I am hitting up a used book store here, I am hoping to find a "las vegas" bride magazine... i had one, but i dont know what happened to it :( boooo....
I think Las Vegas Bride has a website too. If you have any other questions feel free to ask...happy to help :-)
I am a new bride and I am pretty much a Las Vegas local...I've been here over 20 years. Are you looking for a place to do ceremony and reception or just reception? You can PM me. Looking forward to hearing from you.
@Vegasvixen: have you ever been to the viva las vegas wedding chapel?
I am thinking I totallly wanna do this as they do receptions as well, and their prices are awesome:) I think anyhow.
So let me know if you been there:)
Thanks!
Ronney

Sorry, there are no users yet.
so here I am, now changing my venue, which is good cuz i haven't paid for my AZ venue yet.. we are going to vegas to renew our vows. We are doing www.vegaselvis.com at the welcome to las vegas sign, then i want to have a 2 - 3 hour cocktail reception after. probably from 2-5.
is anyone from vegas that can recomment places? So far I got the ramada (on Flamingo) and thats it? I check out Circus Circus but they were considerably more $ since they are on the strip I imagine.
Are there any other "off strip" reception sites I could consider? please? anyone?
