We are having our wedding in Las Vegas off of the strip. The venue is about 15 min or so away from where most people are staying. We are having an open bar and I feel like we need to at least provide transportation back to the hotel after. We are all going out after the reception also. The venue said that it is very hard to get cabs for 50-60 people when the wedding is over. My mom and dad don’t think its necessary but I am not sure what to do. Any thoughts?

@pintsize410: Yes it is going to be very very hard to get that many cabs the only thing I can suggest is to get limo buss that will hold all the peeps they arn’t bad pricing either but that is somethin to consider. I have a local girl here we met who does limos if you want her number I will be glad to give you her name and # etc.
Not too mention cab people here suck and they are really wreckless 🙁 just like anywhere with cabs.

Same situation for us. We’re about 30 minutes off the strip and I thought the same thing. I hired a coach bus to pick up and drop off passengers before and after the wedding. It wasn’t too expensive. The company I’m using is called Sweet Tours. They’ve been fantastic so far! Here’s their site: http://www.sweetours.com/

I agree. I think if you’re planning on drinking heavily and you’re away from where everyone is staying, the polite, thoughtful and safe thing to do would be to get a nice limo bus. I recommend contacting Presidential Limo or Alan Waxler Group. Both have really good reputations and nice cars.

@AimeeS: Ooh, I was looking into AWG but was unsure since I’m having a hard time finding recommendations. Thanks for suggesting them – I’m going to look into Presidential too!

@JillianS: How did the car company work for you? I am looking for a large vehicle (probably a couple) to take about 100 guests to the reception and back.
