Nothing like booze and Britney!

I’ve been a few times, and my favorite things are:

I loved Penn & Teller, the X Burlesque at Flamingo, and any Cirque du Soleil show.  I would like to have seen the Blue Man Group and maybe Thunder from Down Under but we didn’t have time.

I did some little $5 tables for blackjack.  I told the dealer I was new, and if they would be so kind as to give me a hint or so if they are allowed I would really appreciate it.  Every few hands I would bet an additional $1 chip and if I won I would slide the $2 in chips to the dealer for a tip.  Over the course of a few hours that adds up to a pretty decent tip for the dealer 🙂

Mirage has the dolphins & penguins which was a lot of fun.  They also had the big cats but we went during the day and apparently they are nocturnal.  Sooo… we saw a bunch of very large, very sleepy kitties.  MGM used to have lions but I heard they don’t anymore.  I liked the Flamingo conservatorium though, they have actual flamingoes!  Pretty neat!

Do a gondola ride at Venetian if you get a chance, and check out Madame Tussaud’s wax museum too.  Of course the Mirage volcano & the Bellagio dancing fountains are must-sees too.

And eat.  Eat your face off.  Everyone has a buffet.  Go to Paris for brunch!

@imnotorange:  I did a Bacholette in Las Vegas a few years ago. We did Chippendales (which was so awesome lol), a Stripper 101 course where you learn the basics of pole dancing and lap dancing (also awesome and a lot of fun) and went to see Celine Dion. Other than that we did a lot of eating, some shopping, and some champagne drinking.  We stayed on strip at the Cosmopolitan. The Chandelier Bar there is really nice and they have giant shoes people get pictures with. We did the gondola ride at the Veneitian and the wax museum as well.  We had one club night and my best friend (who is a doctor) paid for table service at the club at the Wynn hotel. What a fun time we had!

@imnotorange:  Just make sure you walk everywhere so you can eat as much as you want 😛

That sounds awesome!! I loved Penn and Teller so I’d definitely add that to your list. And have you been to the Grand Canyon? That’s a good day trip. And for sure go shopping!

Definitely hit up the buffets!! I would recommend looking up stuff on (and even groupon) for deals on food and whatnot. 🙂

@imnotorange:  If you are into seafood, the BEST buffet is at the Rio! It’s pretty pricey though!

I second all Cirque shows, but if youre already going to see Brit than maybe not.
