I love laser hair removal! I did it on my underarms, lower legs, bikini, and upper lip. My bikini area was by far the worst – I ATTEMPTED a brazilian. I ended up not finishing it but I’m still happy with the results. But my underarms are soooooo much nicer, I only have to tweeze a few hairs every couple weeks!

Mine wasn’t expensive at all. She charges for time, so a 15 minute session is only $100 – and that covered all the areas I mentioned! I believe I did 4 or 5 sessions altogether. If anyone is in the So Cal/LA area, I would highly highly recommend Celebrity Looks Laser Center in Studio City. I only ever had it done by the owner, Aida (who is also an RN), but she has expanded her staff to include another RN because she has two locations and is super busy always!

I love love love laser hair removal! I have 3 sessions left on my brazilian and it’s already 90% gone, and what’s left is much less coarse and much finer. I’m getting my underarms done next and I can’t wait!

@TaraMay_:  Thank you for the review and recommendation! I’ve been thinking about laser but have been afraid of the costs. The cost you mentioned is definitely one I can save up for in a few months.

Laser didn’t work for me. Like, at ALL. It was a waste of my money. I’m currently doing electrolysis and seeing results.

Thank goodness there are multiple options!

@HisMoon:  You’re welcome!! I believe a 5 minute session is only $50 and that’s more than enough time to cover smaller areas like underarms.

I did under arms, but stopped going after 3 sessions so the hair is mostly back now.   It’s much finer and more sparse though.

I’ve done 3 sessions of brazilian too, it hurts like hell but I like the results.   It’s embarrassing, for sure, but they’re used to it.   I was a little skeptical because my hair is blonde (yea, even my pubes >.<) but they turn the intensity up a bit more and it still works.

Can I ask, what does it feel like?

@CatyLady:  on my underarms, I feel nothing. On my Brazilian, it feels something like a hot rod held against you for a second, it’s bearable pain honestly, but sometimes when they’re too quick jumping from one spot totthe next I have to say stop, give me a moment Lol. It’s totally worth it.

@Xu:  I’ve heard similar stories and didn’t want to waste money when I hear electrolysis is the only permanent option as laser is not always permanent especially due to hormonal changes later such as pregnancy.

Still looking into all options, it’s a big investment!

@Overwhelmed:  Had my underarms and legs done. LOVE it! My legs are ALWAYS smooth! I never have to shave my underarms. I’m going to be doing my arms and bikini next.

Doing laser on my legs, bikini, and underarms has been the best money I’ve ever spent!

I’m almost done doing laser on my face and neck (I have PCOS and have hormonal hair growth Frown ) and its seriously the best thing I’ve ever done. I did laser once in the past at a sketchy place and got some results, but they didn’t last. The current place I’m gong to, however, has been phenominal. I can tell its working better because it hurts more. lol To me, it feels like someone snapping a rubber band against my skin. I’m not going to lie, it hurts pretty bad and makes my eyes water, but its not anything I can’t handle.
