I started with it in March so I can’t speak to the long-term results but i’m extremely happy with the results so far. My hair is drastically reduced. I’m still not fully smooth but getting there.

I’d definitely do it again if I had it to do over. Wish I’d done it sooner!

It isn’t painful (for me anyway). Hurts 100X less than waxing IMO.

Hope this helps!

I have been getting my under arms done.  I’ve had 2 sessions so far, and the hair is A LOT slower to grow and a lot thinner!  The effectiveness depends on your skin type as far as I know.  From what I understand, it’s most effective with paler skin tones, and darker hair.  I didn’t find it that painful, they use ice packs in between each zap, but I have friends that think it is VERY painful, I guess it depends where you go and the type of laser.  I also heard that you’re not allowed to tan in between sessions, but underarms should be ok since that doesn’t really see light.

I’ve had 3 sessions on my underarms and I forget to shave all the time! It hardly hurt at all and I would so do it again in a heartbeat.

I originally got a Groupon for 4 bikini treatments and I’ve upgraded it to do my underarms, too. I’ve got 1 left in that Groupon, then I’ll assess the situation and maybe get a deal somewhere else to see what I want.  I’ve also got 2 of 6 sessions done on my legs (all 6 sessions were only $200 on Groupon– I love that site.)

I have had 5 underarm and 4 lower leg sessions.

The first 2 sessions for each I was thrilled with the results, now….I wouldn’t go near it again with my money.

They know I am not impressed and have already offered an additional session or two if needed (will be needed!)

I want to love it and rave about it, I have pale skin, dark (dark!!) hair and was told I was a perfect candidate. She asked me to leave an extra days growth before the last session so she could really target the follicles and I’m still not seeing much change.

I hope my luck changes, my next appt is Sept 6th.

I just bought a deal too! Thanks for posting, I was curious as to what people’s reactions were, I’m nervous!

i had my hairline done about 5-6 years ago.  It took about 6 sessions and it’s been pretty permanent.  It was expensive but totally worth it.

I have very pale skin and dark hair so I was an ideal candidate.

I had some done on my face and the results were great. However, my facial skin is very sensitive and it took about 10 days to get back to normal after the first session. I had redness, swelling and breakouts following the treatment. I don’t know if it’s from the laser hair removal (for dark hair) or the electrolosis (for light hair).

The earlier you start, the better! I have my second session in a few days. Hopefully it was just a “first time” reaction. My fiance asked me to stop the process before the wedding because the reaction was so bad. After the next session I’m going to re-evaluate if it’s something that needs to happen before the wedding or if it can wait.

I am almost done with the process and have had my lip, my underarms and the back of my neck done.  I am extremely happy with the results and I think the next time I go I want to add my bikini area.

The place I went to charges a flat fee for 6-8 sessions and then you get follow up for a year after your last session.

A group of us went together and since there were so many we got a great deal (only $100 per area – options of lip, chin, underarms or bikini).  I got a tattoo on the back of my neck/head when I was younger and shaved the hair back there all the time to “show it off”  I started getting a hairy neck like a man.  So the laser lady let me do that area since it was my most troublesome for the same fee of $100.
