I've been doing treatments for 2 years on my legs, bikini, and underarms. I think everyone is different and it depends on the coarseness of the hair (I would assume upper lip hair is less coarse than leg hair), but I am almost done. So I would say start immediately! Most places will tell you you need 6-9 treatments and treatments are typically 1.5-2.5 months apart.
I was told the effectiveness of the treatment is dependent on each person. For someone who is lighter with thicker/darker hair, laser works best.
I went for four treatments at this point and i have noticeably less hair (I'm doing arms, underarm and legs). There are still small patches of thin hair, but i can go without shaving. As for mustache, i can't say since i am not getting hair that fine done. Consult them for their expert advice or maybe the other bees had gotten it done. This is the perfect time to schedule your appointment (you have to avoid being out in the sun during treatment) and you can only do one session per month.
Oh, I would definitely say I am an ideal candidate, then. I have very dark brown hair, and I have very fair complexion (usually the second-lightest shade of foundations).

I just purchased a Groupon for 5 laser hair removal treatments. The groupon is for a reputable firm in town. I am going to use this to finally zap the annoying mustache I have been at war with for years. My question is...
When should I begin the treatment for optimal effect for my July 3 wedding?
Oh, one more question...
Is five treatments sufficient or should I snag another Groupon while I can? They're good for a year.
