@tiedtogetherwithasmile:  Just curious but have you considered doing a cover-up tattoo? If at all possible, you should consider it if you haven’t already. Some artists can work magic.

It just seems a bit much to have to go thru the pain (and expense of multiple sessions) of tattoo removal only to put something else in its place. Also, make sure you look into whether it’s possible to tattoo over the skin – tattoo removal can scar and the tattoo may then be a bit warped.

I heard it feels like rubber bands snapping on your skin except worse.

@tiedtogetherwithasmile:  Ok, that isn’t bad, then! As long as you’ve considered all possibilities, that’s good.

I will say it is extremely painful.  It felt like I was being electrocuted and burned at the same time.  I bought 3 groupons and only used one because it hurt too bad to go back.  I will say though my tattoo looks better than it did.  It looked like a blob of 2 black flowers and now you can see the color again and it broke up a little pigment.  I think it is normally a minumum of 5 sessions.

I’m not going to lie. It hurts. Pretty bad. Depending on the area is worse than others. So far I’m having 5 done at once. 2 on the back of my neck which hurt the least but bleed a bit, one on my ankle which is small but kinda painful, one on my foot which hurts a shit ton and swells like nobodys business for a day or two, and then my side. OMG my side. It’s the biggest (a bit bigger than the circle of a coke can) and it hurts. Like, can’t breathe, have to stop a couple of times hurts, it bruises everywhere the laser hits, and shoots sharp pain throughout the first day.

That be said. I would still do it and do. Have had 3 treatments on my neck (it is barely visible now) and 2 everywhere else.

Where is yours and size?

@tiedtogetherwithasmile:  I don’t know about your arm but yes, side will hurt. but! I love that it looks the way I want it to look.
