Go to the MAC counter at your mall and have them do a demo for you!! Tell them that you tried to do it yourself and failed — They will do it and show you how!!!

Yes, you should curl your lashes first so they blend in better. Put on the lashes before the rest of your eye makeup (because then you can use the makeup to make them blend better, especially with mascara and liner). I think you can buy lash adhesive remover at the drugstore to get the glue off.

The MAC counter at Nordstroms does the make-up for "free", but requires that you buy a certain amount of product (between $40.00 & $60.00).  Included in that product can be your eyelashes if you want.

I will put a quick coat of mascara on mine just to blend them.  I prefer lash extensions though.

whenever i’ve bought lashes at MAC, they put them on for me without the $40 minimum.

i don’t put mascara on their lashes because you can reuse them once or twice if you’re careful.

i taught myself to apply them buying the cheapie NYC brand ones at CVS or Target.  they’re like $2 a pair.

hth!

I found a great tutorial on applying fake lashes at xanga.com/ricebunny.  It’s a tutorial for achieving the anime eye look, but if you go through the video she shows you how to apply the lashes.  Hope this helps!

Bees-

I would love to have very long and natural looking lashes for my day.  Any recommendations on what to use?  Kind, how to apply, put them on the day before etc?  I am a fake eyelash virgin!

 Thanks!!!

I know the MAC here in Houston requires the $50 min. purchase if you go in on Thurs-Sun.  If you stop by on Mon-Wed, no min. purchase for the makeovers.
