why dont you mix it up and do each class a few times per week. They will all contribute to your overall fitness.

If you can mix it up then I would do that. however, if you have to choose 1 class because you are paying for it I would either do kickboxing or hot yoga. I lost a good amount of weight by doing yoga last year (regular yoga) and it also helped me tone a LOT! I am also doing a last 30 days work out but I am just doing yoga and pilates and weight training. I dont want to lose weight, but I cant gain any either and I also want to tone my arms for my dress and my body for the honeymoon!!

I gotta say – nothing works better for the belly than pilates.  It is absolutely AMAZING how quickly you can get a completely different body.

@septcabride: YES!  I second pilates.  After losing the weight I put on in college using pilates and portion control, I could not believe how flat my abs were.  It works incredibly well, and in my honest opinion, it’s not really that taxing.  Added bonus: with pilates you see results pretty damn fast, maybe not on the scale necessarily, but DEFINITELY in the mirror.  I definitely recommend it!

I would be careful doing too much crossfit. I did crossfit a few times and after one class session my arms swelled to triple their normal size for nearly 4 days.

I agree with the other ladies and say do a mixture of classes, that way you won’t get burn out or injured.
