We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon so Hawaiian Wedding Song was our last dance, it was my favorite part of the reception :-)
All the weddings I've gone too have had slow songs for the last dance- my friend's was "At Last"
We wanted something sort of upbeat for our last song, rather than a slow song. We picked "Everything" by Michael Buble, and it was perfect. The DJ announced it was the last song, so people just sort of came up on the dancefloor by default, but then were kind of pleasantly surprised that it was a fast-ish song. The words are so sweet and it has a really nice 'last dance' ending.

We picked Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton...we felt it summarized the evening.
We used a slow one "Steady as We Go" by Dave Matthews Band. It is a very special song for me since it almost single handedly got me through my husband's deployment. I knew it was import for us to play it and it was an awesome way to end the night. Weddings usually celebrate the high points of relationships, but the reality is that there will be hard times. So ending with a song that says, "So when the road gets rocky girl, just steady as we go" seamed nothing short of perfect to me! Good luck!

"All You Need is Love" - The Beatles... by the ending everyone will be chanting along as the lyrics trail off!
"I've had the time of my life" from Dirty Dancing. It's one of my favorite movies and we're getting married in the Catskills (the setting of the movie).
Ours is going to be a Tango - for I wasn't comfortable doing it in a huge dress and I'll have changed for that part! :)
