You could use it as your last song but thats usually when you are saying goodbye to people and you might not get to dance with it. What about using it right before dinner is served.

Love it 🙂 I am also in the process of looking into songs for our last dance…and I am pretty much set on Celebration by Kool and the Gang which was my parents last song. I personally feel you need to go out with a bang LOL

I don’t know if people do this or not but could you have the DJ state stick around after the song so the bride and groom can say goodbye? Of course wording it nicer than that Smile

Have you considered “Last Dance” by Donna Summer?

I don’t think you’ll have a problem dancing to it if it’s the last song. I’ve always danced to the last song at weddings, and see the bride & groom right beside me dancing as well. I’m also used to having the flower toss right after the last dance, and afterwards the bride and groom leaves. But that’s just my experience.

This might be corny but for some reason it just popped into my head.. what about the song form dirty dancing..I dont know the name but in it they say “ive had the time of my life and i owe it all to you” It seems kinda fun and uplifting!!  it was just a thought 🙂

we had brad paisley’s “then” – typical i know – but i love it and i was singing it (i had a couple drinks)…but the best part – when it ended people shouted for an encore and he busted out “say hey (i love you)” by michael franti – best way to end the night!
