Oh but that's awesome! Congrats on moving on. I have been at my job since I graduated, its been awhile. I have begun the search for something new but I happen to be moving to one of the states that has the least amount of open jobs available... awesome. Anyway, I'm sure I'll feel nostalgic. As much as I dislike some aspects of the job, I've learned a lot, met a lot of great people and find the work rewarding. Will you keep in touch with some of your co-workers?
I feel you! I had been working at a law office for almost 3 years when I left to go to grad school. I loved the job and was so sad to leave.... It felt surreal. Sounds like you have a lot of awesome things coming your way though! Congrats!
yes i'll stay in touch with many. people have been coming by all morning to say bye, though. makes me sad!

Aw yeah, that is sad. I'm sure you'll be missed! But this is a great thing. You'll be so glad you made this move. Its not easy, but its worth it for sure!

Awww...congratulations on grad school and your new position! Those are big :) With Facebook and other social networking sites it is easier to keep in touch nowadays. It looks like you will definitely be missed and have another home to go back to.
ha so weird...today is MY last day at work too. Ive only been here for a year and some change but it was my first job out of grad school. Its such a bitterasweet thing...Ill be taking a new job closer to home but ill be loosing lots of co workers who i have a special place in my heart for :(

Hi Bees,
It's SO WEIRD to be at my desk for my last day at my current job, where I've been for almost five and a half years!!!! But it's time for me to move on to grad school, a new grad assistant position, and getting married this fall.
I can't help feeling nostalgic and weird though!
How do you ladies cope with job change?!
