I’m surprised at how great they look! Normally they’re pretty huge, but those look great. Since cabbage is a pretty pungent veggie when cooked, how does it smell raw? I put them out in my garden this time of year, but have never smelled them up close and personal. 🙂

I saw the subject line to your post and thought, “this I have got to see!” Those look like flowers?! And here I was thinking you were to carry a cabbage like a pomander down the aisle…silly me!

I think those look great and your inspiration pictures are beautiful. I cannot wait to see what you come up with. 🙂

@Vitsippa:  I would not hesitate for an instant to ask your neighbours for some of the snowberries if you want them.

My experience is that gardeners are so generous with their plants. They would probably love for a bride to have some of their berries in her bouquet.

I’ve seen those in bouquets at my local flower shop, sometimes they even paint the middles yellow or pink. I remember them being mixed with other greens and roses but I’ll keep my eyes peeled next time i walk by. I agree ask your neighbors, most people will happily give you bits from their garden if they don’t grow them for a specific purpose. My dad used to ask strangers if he could pick their grape leaves all the time and no one ever said no!
