i believe there’s a super handy post entitled the same thing ‘last minute details’ that’s got lots of great tips in it 🙂

Oh really, a last minute details post… *goes off to find it*.

 

Seriously though, for me it’s ‘start the pill 1 month before the wedding’ so we don’t have to use condoms on the honeymoon. I keep forgetting about it LOL.

Ok just read the first ‘Last Minute Details’ post… erm seriously? I think buying 200 guests packed-full goody bags is a bit OTT and kiss-arse, not to mention we don’t have that kind of money to burn.

I’m still trying to keep a running list of things we need, or could need for the day of for my “emergency bag” lol  We are getting ready at the venue, which is in a close by town, but I want to have any and everything we need there! lol

So far on my list I have:

Chalk (covers dress smudges), sewing kit, crochet hook (lots of buttons on my dress, this makes them easier to handle), mints/gum, q-tips, baby powder, tide stick, bobby pins, tampons, excedrin, lotion, phone charger, nail clippers & file…

Also, I am starting to freak out about crunch time, as we still have lots of little details to take care of!

You could make a checklist.  I have a checklist of things to do but I also have a checklist of things to gather and pack for that weekend.

I made an itemized list by DAY.  So things I need to have on Friday (rehearsal dress, jewelry for dress, gifts for bridal party, toothbrush), things I need to have on Saturday (pjs, something to get ready in, reception decor-listed out), things I need to have on Sunday (clothes for the day after).  It is 3 pages long.

Things I’m taking to the venue I’m going to put in my storage containers with lists on the outside with what is included in each box.  Then I will have a directions sheet for all the items.

If you start early you are more likely to catch anything you miss since you can add things as you realize they are missing!
