I think the brown isn’t dark enough – it makes you look either bruised or tired? My FI said the same thing. A darker, less smudged brown liner could be better, but as is . . . black is my vote.

@swimcat14:  i too like the black. but im not too keen on the eye shadow color. idk if you are using the shadow for your wedding as well or not but i think you need to blend a couple colors together… like a lighter color in the inner corner.

This depends on what look you are trying to acheive.  Brown brings out your natural colors, and appears more organic, softer and less pronounced.  The black will give you a more pronounced eye shape.  Do you like the smudged look, or the more glamour look?  Which goes better with your dress, venue, time of day, overall feel?  When I was doing makeup for brides I had them fill out questionaires with all these topics so that I could get a feel for their style and event before creating a look for them.  Both looks are totally valid.  The brown is more smokey, and will make your blue eyes pop a little more, the black gives that glamour look.  Also because there is black liner underneath the left eye too, it gives the illusion of a smaller eye.  (These are all MUA tricks)  I would suggest doing both looks and taking pics to decide which you like better.  You can start with the brown, take a pic, then go over with black so you don’t get a raw face so close to your day!

I think it would look better with a darker brown. It would look a little bit more natural than the black, but more dramatic than the current brown.

    You have really pretty eyes!
