My godmother demanded I change her table assignment at the last minute. She only found out where she was sitting because we asked her to fill out the escort cards for us. This led to my only bridezilla moment during planning.
I also had one aunt that kept on changing her food choice because she didn't understand that she was allergic to shellfish and not fish. I let her harass the server in the end.
@LGenz: Ugh, yeah, the seating can be a pain. One of our friends was watching us tweak the table assignments and was like "um, you somehow put me at a table where I don't know anyone despite the fact that I know 3/4 of the people at the wedding." Since she's being a huge help and doing all the music for us, we were happy to switch it around for her. But relatives are getting none of that because there are literally 10 people not in our generation and there's only one possible way to split them between two tables without leading to a fistfight.
I hate the whole bridezilla terminology. I feel like if 40 people keep bugging me about stuff and half of them owe me money for lodging of course at some point I am going to tell people no in firm and certain terms.
@Entangled: It drives me nuts that people do not seem to understand that their request/problem/whatever may be small but when you multiple that by 100 guests it is way too much to try and deal with.
@LGenz: Yes, absolutely.
Though the totally ridiculous micro-management requests are all coming from my parents. Like one of the requests yesterday was that they want to sit in the front row on the aisle on the side of the ceremony where they'll see my face. Which sounds pretty reasonable (except I think they're traditionally supposed to be on the same side of me...) but is just too much information for me to process and keep track of, especially when paired with other detailed requests at the same time.

We're 11 days from the wedding and 8 from heading down to Carmel where we're having it. Yay!
Yesterday I get a phone call from my parents with THREE seperate and specific requests for things we include in the ceremony. I feel bad, but I kind of got pissed off at them. One request was understandable, two was not such a big deal as long as they can understand that it's not my top priority to take care of it but by the third I was just pissed off.
Is anyone getting last minute requests, demands, changes in plan from friends and family? How do you handle it? Amusing stories and ridiculous demands are particularly appreciated!
