That's horrible. Are there any local B list people that you can ask to come and fill some seats so you get some use out of the food?

Yes, we thankfully were able to find replacements. Do you have any single people that would like to bring a date or a friend so you can fill seats and not lose money?
I think it's normal....and don't be surprised if people who RSVPd yes don't show up. It happened at both me and my sister's weddings. Very rude.
We had these. Sadly, it was wedding party people and siblings, so it was extra stressful on us. Luckily, they told us before our catering deadline. Phew!
But I think it happens to everyone. Just gotta roll with the punches, right?

People letting you know at the last minute that they did rsvp but can no longer make it now? drives me CRAZY
