stil with the original BM dresses but if you like the floral print, do those for the flower girl dresses.

If it were me, I would’ve kept the original dresses with that coral-ish belt, and used the floral fabric for just the flower girls. They all look like they coordinate nicely together. I’m not sure if you’re planning on doing the same dress fabric for the flower girls and the bridesmaids, but if that’s what you’re thinking, I think the adult bridesmaids may feel a little silly wearing the same thing as a flower girl.

I think the first dress is lovely. The second fabric has too much orange in it, I don’t like it with the brown. Just my opinion! It will look cute on the flower girls. I think having the BMs and fgs in the same patterned fabric will look overwhelming in pics.

Steph77:  I really like your original dresses and am not as fond of that flower print, therefore I would save the money and keep the originals.  The original dresses with the print flower girl dresses and ties look great together, as opposed to looking overly floral, which I think could be the case if all the girls wear the flower print.

Steph77:  i really like the first dress, i’d like my girls to wear it but i havent found anything like it so i opted for a skirt like it and a white top.  also, why waste money, weddings shouldnt be a financial drain.  also, the floral print is REALLY busy and kind of immature.  BM should compliment you, not stand out entirely on their own in a busy print. (my opinion of course)

Steph77:  first dress is gorgeous – i think the combo of the solid dress w/ printed flower girls will be nice. maybe you could find another way to incorporate that fabric into your wedding, like into your bouquets (as a stem wrap or bow) just to add more of that since you like it so much? just a thought.

but yes…dress #1 is perfection. it looks beautiful with the ensemble!

I just think if it already bothers you it will definitaly bother you afterwards. You are going to be staring at your wedding pictures for ages. I’m also a fan of the floral prints but both are lovely whichever way you go x

Steph77:  Absolutely the first dress, that color will work on most skin-tones, whereas that floral print with the skin-colored beige would wash me out and plenty of girls would disappear entirely in it.  It’s a lovely print but it’s not an easy color to pull off, at least not for me, but if all your BMs are super-tan that could be a moot point.  I think in the end you want your girls to look fabulous, not to have them look kind of blah in really pretty dresses.  Oh and bear in mind that with such a bold floral pattern, assuming they’ll be carrying flowers, you could end up with a weird juxtaposition of floral print against real-life flower that might look a little weird.

Maybe your seamstress could make a sash out of the fabric to wear instead of the belt (I really like the belt you’ve chosen but if you want to incorporate that fabric that might work), or sew a small hem of that fabric around the bottom of the dress so it peaks out from the bottom?  Ooo or she could make clutches out of that fabric for the girls to hold, I bet that would be pretty too.
