I am the result of a late negative pregnancy test :) Sometimes it happens that way, I had a late negative one before and it truly was negative....so I guess it just depends. My MOH had a 45 day late and then all of a sudden got her period. Lady business is so difficult!
I am on CD26 and am normally a 23 day cycle. I know 3 days isn't much. Normally if I'm close and have sex with DH, AF shows up overnight - not the case this time. And I've even gotten fresh with him a few times.
@SFreeman2187: It was the same for me. Every time I was late if we did the dirty AF would always show up right after.
However, when I went off bc I was regular for the first 4 cycles and then they got all whacky. So it still could just be the bc getting out of your system like it was for me.
hmmm my period was 9 days late last month.... i though for sure i was pregnant :(
Still waiting on an outcome. I've taken two tests, both negative but I'm on CD 48 and still waiting for AF. Sooo frustrating.
I've been a few days late, tested negative and eventually had AF show up. I know it's hard, but I would just try and focus on other things and if AF doesn't show up in another week or so, you could always give your doc a call and see what they recommend.
@SFreeman2187: It can be a crazy roller coaster of a ride. Sorry AF arrived. :(
That has happened to me- once with extreme stress, once when I had a fever during my regular ovulation- I was delayed a week. AF always shows up.
I am a regular, 28 day cycle... and i had a 45 day cycle the month after I got a flu shot. My doc says she's never heard of that causing a late period, but I've never had a flu shot so I think my body got "off" from it.
I think when we have babies on the brain we forget about all of the things that can affect our cycles. :)

And what was the outcome? I have been regular since getting off birth control in September but I'm officially late and am not feeling any symptoms for AF or a BFP.
