    Hi girls! So I was wondering if any of you have or plan to have  food brought it when the end of your reception nears? I have seen pizzas, etc brought it to put food in your guests belly's after a night of drinking... I was thinking it would be fun to have the Dog Pit com in and set up a mini make your own dog buffet. Does anyone know if they do this or have suggestions for anything else? (My reception will be pretty formal, I was thinking it would be fun to have it end on a light note)

    Thanks!

    Okay, this is going to be less than helpful for you, since I'm not from anywhere near the area in question, and I don't know what the Dog Pit is, but... are we talking about a make-your-own HOT DOG BAR?  Because as a wedding guest, I would be soooooooooooo amazingly jazzed about that.  That sounds like the most fun post-wedding drunk-food EVER.  If I'm reading into that correctly, I say ROCK IT, your guests will thank you!

    @futurediplomatswife:

    Haha, yes.. I'm talking a make-your-own hot dog bar! Thanks for your enthusiasm! I wasn't sure of the kind of responses I would get! The Dog Pitt is a delicious place in Downtown Grand Rapids that has tons of different toppings, it's their specialty.

    I guess your responses will depend on your guests and their eating/drinking habits, but I don't know a single one of my friends who wouldn't be all up in that buffet.  Sounds unique and fun!

    We're going to do giant cookies at the end of the night :) I'm so excited about it!

    But it's all through our venue, which does their own catering.
