@Selene221:  I went to a wedding that had cookies and milk shots.  It was pretty neat.

my cousin did cupcakes and hot chocolate, which you were handed on the way out. I love the idea of cookies and milk. another idea i had was something like scones and jam (for breakfast the next day).

oh man i really wanted to do this, but we have to be out of our venue reception once it ends at 10pm, so we are just going to do an after party and drink more at a bar lol.

We are having a mashed potato bar at 10 or so. After drinking and dancing I think it will be perfect!

Back at the hotel almost everyone was staying at we had a few trays of hot food like meatballs and egg rolls and I think something else. I forget now. It was in the hotel lobby for the gang. The hotel kept the hotel lobby bar open longer for our wedding. It cost us an extra $40 bucks which was fine. Otherwise our guests would have no where to go at the hotel (we also provided transportation to and from the hotel)

Around 10-10:30 we are having our reception hall bring out some sheet pizzas.. I think it’s a great idea, give all the drunken people a chance to munch on something and soak up some of the booze. And I’ve always heard “As the bride you hardly get a chance to eat all day,” so hopefully by that time I’ll just be dancing and having fun and can finally eat something!
