I think linen is so important! It totally breaks or makes the look and the feel of the reception room in my opinion.

Tablecloths! My venue offers white satin, vanilla satin, and navy blue satin. Well, ick. I don't like satin! I want linen! Anyway, our wedding colors are navy blue, orange, hints of chartreuse. We have a garden theme, so I am thinking of a dark navy blue tablecloth with a jute runner going across. I would love a chartreuse table cloth but where would I find that?!?
Maybe because I only have a 20 person wedding, I can afford to be extremely picky. But you know what really irks me? Wrinkles and creases in tablecloths in a wedding. I hate it! Why can't some person go through the tables with a steamer for an hour or so? Its like wedding guests going to a wedding with wrinkly clothes. Drives me crazy.
