Your schedule sounds just fine. The cocktail hour timing is that perfect buffer while you guys do your pictures. It won't take too long to get everyone up and dancing after dinner (which typically will take 60-90 minutes), most likely, so 7pm-12am is pretty realistic. Is there anything in particular stressing you out?

Hi there! I am having a hard time figuring out how to do my wedding schedule and keep everyone entertained. I've been to a few bodas in my lifetime and only liked a few aspects of them- because they were mainly very unorganized and thrown together. My Anglo friends are wondering how the heck Latinos have weddings that go until midnight because they've only been to 4- 5 hour events with the ceremony included...
Our mass is at 230. We should be out at 330/4. Then from there we do pictures until 5. I would assume we are doing a cocktail hour from 4-5 so people aren't kept waiting. I assume in all this we have dinner around 530/6. Then we do the first dance and then the money dance. Then get party started at 7 until midnight?? I really have no idea what the heck we are doing? Do you have any suggestions?
