Has anyone tried it? I'm going to my doctor on Monday and they do Latisse, should I ask for it? How has it worked for you other bees? Let me know! :o) I'm excited/scared... a bit like Jesse from Saved By The Bell lol.

Everything I've read about Latisse freaks me out! Like how it can permanently darken the color of your eyelids! And how the commercials say it can change your iris color! Seems scary that something you apply to your eyelids can affect the color of your eyes!! I would stick with applying fake lashes or getting extensions.

Any Bees have real experience with Latisse?? I'd love to hear whether it's actually not as bad as it sounds.

I've heard that it works but the side effects are SO not worth it! It can change the color of your eyes, make them darker and it's permanent and when you stop using it, your lashes go back to how they were. And it's super expensive. The knock off is pretty much the same. I honestly wouldn't do it. Look into getting eyelash extensions or fake eyelashes for those big nights out or occasions if you want more lashes. I really like using Loreal Voluminous or Dior Show.

I have two friends who have used it and LOVED it!  Very noticeable results.  One friend had light blue eyes - no color change.  Another friend just went to her dermatologist and talked to them about it - she was really concerned about the color changing issue and they just checked her eyes for any infections, etc and told her not to worry!  She just started it this week and is really excited.

I am also a little freaked out about the side effects.  I'd try some OTC stuff like the L'OREAL lash extender or false lashes =)

My (personal) opinion is I just can't see how all those chemicals over your eyes can be good. It's got to be just about impossible for it to NOT get into your eyeball?

Have you seen this Funny or Die Video??

I have been on it for about 2 weeks. its hard to tell results just yet. I already have very dark eyes, so no big deal. The eyelid darkening isn't permanent and I wear eyeliner every day anyway. I haven't yet noticed any side effects. I got an 8 week supply for $180.

I love it!! Been using just over 2 months and my lashes look amazing! I barely need much mascara anymore during the day and even when I have no make up on they look so much better. My eyes are dark so I didn't worry about any color change and there has been no darkening on the skin. You only brush on such a small amount so as long as you are not OD'ing on the amount of solution it won't go in your eyes. The same chemical has been used for ppl with glacoma (not sure how to spell that) an no one goes crazy over them using it.

I really lucked out though, my FSIL works for a plastic surgeon so she got me three bottles for free. Her lashes were the most amazing I had ever seen when she used it. And yes, about three months after stopping they will go back to normal.
