I haven’t used latisse, but my sister used this:

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?categoryId=C21109&id=P236405

and it would really well for her and obviously she didn’t need a Rx for it.  Sephora also has a great return policy so you can use the whole bottle and return it empy for the your full purchase price if it doesn’t work.  Anyway, so my sister had pale, thin lashes and after using that product her lashes grew thicker and a little bit darker.  The bottle was about a three month supply, but you could see a slight improvement after about a week.  Hope this helps!!!

@MissKimchi:

The downside to Latisse is that you might eventually lose your actual lashes. If you read the small fine print when the commercial comes out it reads “results vary study was conducted over a 6 to a 1 year trial period.”

With that said you might see results earlier or later depending on how your body reacts to it .

You might want to  use  birth control pills a small pinch of the crush pill and add it to your nail polish , hair shampoo, or mascara and with time your lashes will grow thicker , longer and stronger.   Don’t expect that within a month to see result however after 4 weeks you will see slight improvement

Or my mothers remedy in Mexico is get a garlic clove stick your nails in their for 3o minutes daily and you will see that your nails are thicker and do not break as easily. However what out for the foul garlicy smell

I haven’t used the product. I know all prescription medicines have scary side effects on the commercial but one of them listed is changing eye pigmentation. Scary!
