- Wedding: November 2012
We will be sending the Save the Dates soon, but we haven’t 100% finalized all the details for our destination wedding. Like we have a date and a location, but we’re not totally sure where we’re having the reception, etc…
When I started making our website, I put in stuff for ‘placeholders’, but it’s all set in stone. So, before the site goes out on all our Save the Dates, I took out anything that wasn’t confirmed. Now though, I feel like there might not be enough information to make it interesting to our guests and they might have to check back in a month or so once we’ve finalized details.
The site currently includes details on the ceremony time and location, the room block, transportation options, other tourist attractions in the area and our registry information, so it’s not like it’s empty. It’s just that it doesn’t have all the information just yet.
So, just how finished does the site have to be? Should we nail down all the details before sending the Save the Dates and thus launching the website?
