I'm in law school. Finishing up in May and taking the bar in July. (WHOPPEE!!) We're waiting until November to get married. I've notice a lot of male co-students getting married during law school, but I have not seen a female co-student get married while still in law school. I couldn't imagine!
I work during the day and go to law school nights. I am a 3L, and I am getting married in July... It's horrible but doable, this will be my first summer without classes so I am really excited! and I hope that it will be really nice to have the time off.
I'm a 3L finishing up this May! Getting married this August! I have decided not to take the bar exam. Well at least not now. Crazy? I know. But, after three years I have decided the traditional law career is not for me. I might take it in the future, but am going to explore other career opportuniites first before I submit to the added cost/stress of the bar exam.
I'm a 2L, getting married 2 weeks after I graduate next May and probably right before bar review classes start. It was difficult finding a good time but I think this will be better than trying to plan something after the Bar. My fiance is a pharmacist, so he at least understands the periods of time when all I can do is study! He's been very supportive.
I'm a 3L getting married 5 weeks after I take the bar. I just found out my clerkship start date is 2 weeks before my wedding though, so I'm super worried about being able to get stuff done right before the wedding. Especially because my wedding is taking place 14 hours from where I'll be working! I have no idea how this is going to work, but hopefully it'll be ok. I think I might need to invest in a DOC.

Hi bees - I noticed several people saying they were currently in law school, and I thought we deserved our own thread!
I'm a 2L in Boston, getting married this summer in the gap between my summer job and the start of school in the fall. My FI is a framer (houses, not pictures!) in Ontario, so we actually have another year of LDR after the wedding (argh!!). We wanted to get married this summer for personal reasons, immigration reasons (I'm emigrating to Canada), and because we think the following summer will be too busy with the bar and moving. I'm lucky with planning because my Mom is helping me A LOT!
Any other law school brides? Are you marrying another law student/lawyer? At what point in your law school career is the wedding? I know a lot of people get married after the bar, but I'm bucking that trend!
I've noticed lots of engagement rights on my classmates recently, so I think this must be a pretty common phenomenon! Good luck with balancing planning, outlining, journals, pro bono work, the bar, etc etc!
