I got my friend a copy of the book "The True Patriot" when she graduated from law school. It has a complete copy of the constitution included.
Black's Law Dictionary. the Bluebook. One L by Scott Turow. And definitely Starbucks cards - I lived on coffee in law school (3 ventis per day - yikes!).
