So we’re having an outdoor vintage wedding and we want to have lawn games for our guests to enjoy during the cocktail hour. There’s a fairly large area of grass that we can put two or three games. We’re trying to figure out what games would be most popular. Our wedding is small (50 guests) and mostly family (average age is 35-40).
The cost to do cornhole would be about $200 and I’m not sure I want to spend so much on one game alone. We could do 2 for that price.
This is the ring toss I’ll be making.

@michiru4ever: I am doing the same thing!
We’re planning on bocce, croquet, and some sort of tossing game. Likely horse shoes as I have a set for that already. Also likely washers Your ring toss picture is cute too though! I think I may set up badminton too for the fellahs or anyone who wants to get more active.
Are you making signs for each station?

I would vote on badmitton! If your guests are mainly family they could all get on teams and more people can be included. Sometimes target/walmart have yard game sets with several different games all included.

@FoolsintheRain: I think we are just doing one sign since they are all in the same area. We decided on ring toss, cornhole, and ladderball.
