Need some dress advice!
I absolutely feel in love with this beautiful Lazaro dress however it cost more than I wanted to spend. In a panic I bought the Tara Keely which is half the price but I'm still having doubts and can't get the Lazaro out of my mind! Which do you think is better?

I like the Lazaro better. I thin they are is the same "sisterhood" of dresses with some similarities. But the lazaro just seems more flowy and whimsical. Where the Kelly is tyring to get the same effect and is almost there, but not quite.

The Tara Keeley is pretty, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose the Lazaro. The intracacy of the skirt and all that texture is amazing. I was a Lazaro bride as well and I chose something with a textured skirt too so I am biased. If this is a case of dress regret, try selling the Tara Keeley. Doesn't Lazaro design that line as well?
If by "better" you mean quality, I think they are both great quality.
the Lazaro has the WOW factor... but thats also the $$$ factor.
The Keely is beautiful, but if your heart is set on the Lazaro, you're going to keep thinking about it.
I love the more fitted silhoutte of the tara keely and moreoever I'm not a huge fan of the fabric they chose to make that ruffle effect for the lazaro- it is kind of strange to me
I agree with the above poster. I don't like the prairie skirt effect that the lace gives it. It's pretty but the Lazaro sings. I don't know if it will help you to know that since you already purchased the Tara but if you can't get a dress out of your head and its in your budget, I would try and make the Lazaro happen somehow.
I would choose the Tara Keely, I think there is just too much to the Lazaro.
But if you are having doubts now they aren't going to go away.
I honestly LOVE the first one. I think it's beautiful. It sounds like you stayed within your budget too, if you go back and order the Lazaro you will stop stressing over "if" you should have gotten the Lazaro and start stressing over how you're going to pay for it.
There's always going to be a better, more expensive dress, it's self torture to keep looking at it and thinking about it.
The Lazaro skirt looks a little messy to me. And not in a fun, frilly, ruffly sort of way.
I actually love the Tara Keely much more! I think the skirt on the Lazaro is too busy and not as elegant.
I feel like the lazaro is too much... It's hard for me to say without seeing you in both dresses, but I feel like I would see the bride in the first dress, whereas I would see the dress first with your second choice. On my wedding day, I want people to notice me first, and the dress second, not the other way around.
The Lazaro just feels to busy in my opinion. The Tara Keely just seems more, clean (I can't think of a better word to use!).

Personally, I like the Tara Keely much better. But I prefer simpler dresses, and the Lazaro just seems kind of over the top to me. It's up to you, though--you have to wear it!
I love the Tara Keely more! I like the way it's fitted, and the Lazaro seems a little much, for me anyways. :) I'd keep the Tara!
I love the fact that the Tara Keely is half the price!!!! They are similar yet different.
I think you've already chosen which one you want by not buying the more expensive Lazaro and going with the equally gorgeous Keely.
Either one is lovely (just in slightly different ways).
@heather25: True, it makes a huge difference when you see them on. I couldn't sneak a picture of me in the Lazaro but this is the Tara Keely!

the tara looks better on you than on the model. it's simple yet gorgeous. i usually like lazaro but i'm not sure about the lace and the ruffles. it's a wow dress but the lace and the ruffles just don't go together.
You look GORGEOUS in that dress! I feel like the lazara isn't as fitted near the hips, and wouldn't give you that awesome shape you have in the tara keeley!
I wore the tara keely dress at my wedding, I added straps to it, but the dress was so beautiful it was the ONE. And you can't beat the quality for the price. And you look amazing in it.

It sure looks beautiful here and on you. For a fraction of the price, I think I would go w the Tara Keely.
Definitely the Tara!! The Lazaro seems too busy and messy while the Tara is more classic and elegant. And you look better than the model!

I like the Tara Keely one more, but I think no bride should ever have to compromise on her wedding dress!!! Pick the one you LOVE and remember that money comes and money goes ;)
I absolutely LOVE the Tara Keely and need to try it on asap! I feel like it is more timeless and a little less trendy than the Lazaro.

I like the first pic better. Much better I dont like the diagonal direction of the ruffles on the second dress but thats just me!
I personally like the Tara Keely one better too - it still has a lot of detail but it is a little less overwhelming. And you look stunning in it! I do think you need to try them on again so that whatever you decide you don't have to second guess. Let us know what you pick!
I voted for lazaro based on model pics. But then I scrolled down replies and saw you in Tara kelly and you look very beautiful in it.
I prefer the Tara. I think the texture on the Lazaro skir is too much, IMO.

I actually LOVE the Tara Keely but don't like the Lazaro. It's too distracting/messy in my opinion.
Glad you like it!! I paid $2,400 for it (before taxes) but purchased it in Toronto. I believe prices in Canada are higher than in the US so my bet is that you could find it for maybe $2,000? Good luck and let me know if you try it on!
I would definitely go for the Tara Keely. Unless you can get the Lazaro for the same price, it just isn't worth it. You will be wearing the dress for only one day to never wear again. I think the Tara is just as beautiful and you can use the saved $$$ to purchase gorgeous jewelry that you can wear for a lifetime.
I love the Tara Keely and think it is definitely the better bang for the buck, but if you are in love with the Lazaro and can't get it out of your mind think about getting it. You could always sell the Tara Keely but remember you will wind up spending a whole lot more getting two dresses! The big thing to remember is that this is your wedding day and you only do it once so make it exactly what you want.
The Tara Keely looks so beautiful on you... wish there was a pic of you in the Lazaro!
What did you end up deciding?
We must have similar taste. I tried on TK 2052 and liked it a lot but ending up getting TK 2056, which is very similar. Looking around the salon, before trying dresses on, I saw that same Lazaro and it really caught my eye but I decided not to try it on because it was considerably more than I wanted to pay for a dress. After trying on the incredibly elegant and timeless yet still unique and interesting Tara Keelys (and falling in love with 2056), the Lazaro just looked kind of busy and over-done on the way out. Either way I am sure you'll be happy with your choice!
