I also posted this on the Christian board but thought I might get some more responses on the LDR board… so without further adieu…
So Fiance and I are currently living in two different states (FI in NC, me in MA) and are scheduled to get married by his uncle (a Methodist preacher) in July. His uncle has requested that we have Pre-Marital counseling before he will marry us which we are more than willing to do.
The problem is that we are currently in a LDR and any time we do spend in the same location is very brief (48 hours at most) and are having a very difficult time finding an online/video/phone counseling service.
Does anyone have any suggestions for websites or places I can call?
What have long distance couples done in the past to meet these requirements?
Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

I think we are doing ours via skype. I don’t know specifics yet but I believe that is the plan.

@jessjess: That is what we were originally planning on doing with his uncle but then he started flaking and then told us to make sure we took care of it. So now we are at a loss on how we can take care of this.
Will you do it via Skype using the minister/preacher/etc. that will marry you in WI? Or will you use an online service? Once you figure that out, would you mind letting me know? I would greatly appreciate it!
I’m just at a complete and utter loss!

@Miss Bumble: I personally find it odd that he won’t do it with you. The pastor who is marrying us is doing our pre marital counseling. We haven’t actually started, but that is the plan. Is there another pastor you are comfortable with that you could skype with to do the counseling? I have not heard of any online routes but that could possibly be because I haven’t looked.
